What do I wear?!?

Question: What do I wear?? My friend has invited me to her Sweet 16 but I don't know what to wear. I'm a guy and on the invitation it says Semi-fromal/Dress-up. I don't know what would be easier to do. I was thinking semi-formal but i don't know what semi-formal is. lol. I was thinking that it's just some slacks and a dress shirt. Do I need a tie? Would it be better? Thanks for your time!! P.S. If I do wear a dress shirt, should it be tucked in or out?

Answer: you have it exactly right...slacks and a dress shirt are all you need. Yes, tuck the shirt in, and yes, wear a tie. you can always untuck the shirt and take off the tie if you get there and feel overdressed...but i'm guessing you wont.
