Wait.... The New York Giants really play in New Jersey?

Question: Why on earth are they not the New Jersey Giants?

Answer: Pork, at least Irving is in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. New Jersey and New York are 2 seperate states! The Giants used to play in New York until 1973 when they were forced out of Yankee Stadium and actually played in Connecticut (Yale University) until 1975 when they returned to New York and played at Shea Stadium. In 1976 they moved the team to the Meadowlands in New Jersey. It's only one tunnel away from New York. I guess they never changed the name of the team because of it's long history in New York.
